2009 Landfill and Equipment Road-E-O

The 2009 SWANA – GA Chapter Road-E-O was held May 14 – 15 at the Southern Pines Ag and Expo Center in Dublin. This year marked a first as the equipment portion of the event was held under roof. The truck competition was held in the parking lot adjacent to the Ag Center allowing all of the competitors to watch all of the competitions.
The competition included events for Roll-Off Truck, Tractor Trailer, Front Loader Truck, Rear Loader Truck, Dozer, Articulated Dump Truck, Rubber Tire Loader, and Trackhoe. The SWANA-Georgia Chapter will sponsor the overall winners in each Category (Truck and Equipment) to compete in the 2009 SWANA International Road-E-O, which will be held in Florida.
Cash prizes and plaques with finishing place were given to 1st ($100), 2nd ($75), and 3rd ($50) place winners. Prizes and giveaways were provided for all competitors.
