Georgia Landfill Operator
Certification Training School

In partnership with the Georgia Center for Continuing Education at the University of Georgia in Athens,|
SWANA - Georgia Chapter provides instructors and helps to coordinate certification training twice a year for
landfill operators -- one in January and one in July. Additionally, the chapter maintains certification database records for all state operators and works closely with the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department
of Natural Resources in overseeing the certification program.
